i cant emphasize enough how important core workouts are
core workouts are CRUCIAL because it:
- flattens and strengthens abs
- stabilizes lower back
- improves balance
- enhances flexibility
- strengthens the body as a whole
some exercises are the plank (i made a post about planks if you want to refer to it), squats, lunges, the bridge, the butterfly (not sure what’s it really called the exercise where you raise your legs and arms), and the alternating standing knee crunches. of course there are many more workouts with weights to increase the intensity but i think these are the general ones.
remember: contract your abs when performing these exercises.
